The Van Gogh 200 design by Gallery Living is
new and fresh, with an innovative and modern design
Aimed at young families and modern couples, the Van Gogh 200 offers low-maintenance living without compromising on space and style. Combining lavish living areas with ample entertaining facilities and generous bedrooms, the home will suit young home buyers to a tee.
The wide driveway is beautifully paved and ties in with the facade which combines modern colours of cream and chocolate brown. With a double-panel remote-controlled garage door leading inside to the hallway, convenience is at your fingertips. "This is also a great security feature as people don’t have to walk outside once they have parked their car," Lee Goddard of Gallery Living says.
The front porch is decked right up to the front door, which opens in to the central hallway. "As soon as you walk in, you get a bright and welcoming feeling from all the natural light that flows in through the windows," Lee says. "You can also walk straight from the front door through the passage to the rear of the home, so everything is connected." The generous main bedroom is at the front of the home and includes a good sized, walk-in wardrobe and large ensuite.
There is also a gorgeous box bay window facing the street, adding a little extra space to the bedroom. Polished European floorboards are fitted from the front entrance to the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, giving a modern and warm feel to the home. The large kitchen has ample bench space, a large island bench with breakfast bar and is fitted with contemporary pendant lights that sit above the bench.
Neutral tones set the scene for the living area which has a very practical design. "In this huge living area we have included a media alcove incorporating a desk with two computers," Lee says. "This is great for the kids to sit and do their homework." The dining room blends seamlessly into this area and has sliding doors to the alfresco where people can just spill out. "One thing that we were going for in this home design is to bring the outside in and vice versa – so it’s great for entertaining," Lee says. "The decked outdoor area is half undercover and half outside so you can enjoy the space in any weather."
Next to the media alcove is a sliding door leading into the central passage linking the remaining two bedrooms, bathroom and laundry. The bedroom closest to the front is extremely spacious and has built-in wardrobes and the bedroom at the back has doors opening to outside. Both share the innovative three-way bathroom that includes a bathtub, vanity and linen cupboard.
"Every area has been designed for a reason and incorporates sleek and modern decor to suit young buyers," Lee says.
